Seb Antoniou
They say a picture speaks a thousand words and storyboard artist and illustrator Seb Antoniou is just the person to tell your story through pictures.
Born and raised in Cambridge, Seb studied Art Foundation at the city’s regional college before studying for a degree in Fine Art at De Montfort University. He spent the early part of his career working as an artist in London creating portrait and landscape paintings and exploring illustration, before returning to Cambridge where he began teaching art and photography. Alongside his successful teaching career, Seb worked part-time as a storyboard artist and illustrator and, after building up an impressive portfolio of work, in May 2024 he decided to take a break from teaching and become a full-time freelance storyboard artist and illustrator.
Behind every successful advert or video communication is a carefully crafted storyboard mapping out exactly what the video is going to look like before the cameras start rolling. Seb has produced effective storyboards for a range of companies, from well-known brands to independent start-ups, and what they all have in common is they start from a written script. Once Seb has researched the script and carried out his initial consultation with the company, he sets to work creating the storyboard. Working in Adobe Photoshop, Seb works digitally but draws on his traditional background as an artist to produce technical and dynamic storyboards.
Seb prides himself on being hardworking and easy to work with, which is conveyed in the end result when the customer receives their storyboard which leads to a successful video or campaign. Seb is also an experienced book cover illustrator and has produced an array of covers that grab the reader’s attention.
