Floatwell
6 Salisbury Villas, Station Road, Cambridge, CB1 2JF
Amid the exciting buzz of CB1’s thriving business district you’ll find a new approach to wellbeing in the form of Floatwell. Across three floors of a beautiful Victorian villa and a stone’s throw from Cambridge Station, this sanctuary offers an array of treatments and experiences to help clients relax and prioritise their self-care.
Floatwell was launched by husband-and-wife team James and Freya Cope-Brown in December 2022 with a clear goal; ‘wellbeing that works’. By embracing a science-based approach to wellbeing, customers can enjoy a range of the latest innovations and technologies to leave feeling a tangible difference.
Core treatments include Floatwell’s two top-of-the-range floatation pods, containing 12-inches of body temperature, Epsom salt-saturated water, which allows you to float effortlessly. Cocooned in a peaceful pod, without distraction, your mind and body can switch off fully, promoting deep relaxation (and much-improved sleep). There are also two infrared saunas which deliver heat deeply and efficiently at a much more comfortable 55 to 60 degrees (as opposed to the traditional 85 to 100). Clients can relax in the private cabins and reap the many health benefits, including detoxing, collagen production and muscle recovery. Another core treatment is Floatwell’s state-of-the-art AI massage chair, which scans your back to detect areas of tension before producing a tailored massage geared to your specific needs.
On the second floor you will find a light, airy studio which hosts wellbeing-themed classes and workshops for individuals to attend or companies to book for events.
For those seeking a more hands-on approach there is also a large treatment room for therapies including various styles of massage and skincare plus a dry floatation bed, providing the multiple benefits of a float without having to get wet!
A blissful retreat, Floatwell offers all the tools required to switch off, reduce stress and optimise mind and body!
