Fen Ditton Gallery
23 High Street, Fen Ditton, Cambridge, CB5 8ST
Fen Ditton Gallery is a leading destination for contemporary art in Cambridge, run by Hannah Munby and her mother, artist/photographer Lotte Attwood. Located in the village of Fen Ditton (just a short bike ride from central Cambridge), the gallery is housed in Lotte’s own home, a handsome Victorian National School building, and offers a welcoming and inspiring space where visitors can discover, acquire, and engage with extraordinary works of art.
Since opening in May 2018, Fen Ditton Gallery has developed a diverse programme of exhibitions, artist residencies and events featuring established artists and makers alongside carefully selected emerging talent. Not constrained by format or medium, the exhibition programme grows organically to connect the stories and values of the gallery and its artists to visitors and collectors. Known for their cross-generational, themed exhibitions, the gallery highlights the dialogue between art and the natural world, as well as celebrating the chromatic spectrum through originality and craftsmanship.
To make collecting even more exciting, Fen Ditton Gallery launched the Young Collectors Club – a fun and welcoming initiative for those who are new to buying art. It’s perfect for anyone looking to dip their toes into the art-world and build confidence with support and guidance. Members can enjoy exhibition tours, artist talks, social events and studio visits, and become part of a community of like-minded people.
