Originally home to a community of wild swimmers at its spring-fed lake, the estate has grown into a luxury wellness destination offering guests personalised wellbeing experiences rooted in its rural setting. Just a short drive from central Cambridge, the Estate offers guests space, calm and connection without feeling far from home. It is home to a wild swimming lake, a private-use luxury spa, a French chateau-style country house and eight thoughtfully designed lodges for overnight stays and weekend breaks.
The Estate prides itself on its ethos of quality and sustainability, with its own onsite vineyard, gin-making and coffee roasting – ensuring guests benefit from authentic local experiences. Guests can head to the Estate Kitchen for freshly roasted coffee and light bites during the day, or enjoy the seasonal small plates menu, featuring locally sourced ingredients and thoughtful, modern cooking, on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings. Each dish is crafted by the Estate’s Head Chef, Ed Forrest-Brown, and highlights bold, contemporary flavours inspired by the surrounding landscape – with produce often gathered within a short distance of the Estate.
The spa – available for private hire – features a stunning luxury swimming pool with an integrated whirlpool, where you can relax with your loved ones in your own private world. There are also two beautifully designed and inviting treatment rooms which offer a variety of treatments, rituals and packages designed to enhance your wellbeing.
Outdoors, guests can step into the sanctuary of our Lakeside Tipi for weekly wellbeing experiences including breathwork, Pilates, strength and yoga. For those looking for a cultural experience, the hillside ampitheatre comes alive with theatre performances, live music and outdoor events during the summer months.
