Choosing the right flooring is incredibly important, after all you’re quite literally laying the foundations for a happy home. Perhaps you’re yearning for a rustic smoked oak herringbone floor for a forever home or considering stone effect luxury vinyl tiles for a rental property? Whatever your requirements, the friendly team at Art of Flooring in Cambridge have the industry expertise and superior products to complement your lifestyle needs.

Partnering with leading manufacturers, they offer the highest-quality flooring, including solid and engineered wood, luxurious carpets, versatile luxury vinyl tiles, and sustainable Marmoleum, crafted from 97 per cent natural and renewable raw materials. There’s an extensive range of bespoke wooden floors available (all European oak, FSC certified, and charmingly named after Cambridge villages), which are showcased at the Milton Road showroom.

Customer service is paramount with the team – headed up by General Manager Phil Stratton – having won multiple accolades including Best of Houzz Service and Design Awards. Phil came on board in 2020, bringing 35 years of retail experience with him. Rob Thurlow, a flooring installer and carpet fitter for 42 years, works alongside Phil to provide exceptional service. Customers are invited to book a showroom appointment to discuss their flooring aspirations with the knowledgeable team in a relaxed environment. A survey will follow before Phil or Rob supply a personalised video to explain the flooring quote (much nicer than an email with only a price on!).

Art of Flooring works with trusted fitters, assuring continual top quality, and offer aftercare services, ensuring flooring retains its excellent condition.
In fact, Art of Clean’s director Pierre De Wet is a master textile cleaner and floor care and restoration specialist, whilst wife Laurence, owns and run Farthings Dry Cleaners in Cambridge and Trumpington so customers have access to a full 360 service for their floors, soft furnishings and garments. Now that’s joined-up thinking!
