Born in Scotland, IOLLA was founded on a simple mission: to make high-quality, beautifully designed glasses and sunglasses accessible, without the confusing mark-ups. Every pair is crafted with style, comfort, and durability in mind – and customers can try on as many as they like in-store before choosing the perfect pair.
In Cambridge, IOLLA has already become a talking point, with passers-by pausing to peek in at the colourful frame wall or stepping inside to chat with Indu. Known for her friendly energy, honest advice and years of optical experience, she’s passionate about helping people discover eyewear that looks and feels great – whether that’s a bold new shape, your first pair of varifocals, or a custom lens tint from IOLLA’s unique lens bar.
Visitors can expect a no-pressure, enjoyable shopping experience, transparent pricing (all single vision glasses are just £85 including prescription lenses, coatings & thinning!), and the option to have glasses fitted in-store or delivered to their door. It’s eyewear shopping reimagined – fun, modern, and all about the customer.
Since opening in summer 2025, the Cambridge showroom has welcomed everyone from students and locals to day-trippers exploring the city, offering each the same relaxed, personal service that has made IOLLA a favourite in its other UK locations.
