Renata Drumond Interior Design
Brazilian born architect Renata Drumond is passionate about designing amazing spaces, whether that be a seriously high-end luxury beach house in Doha or a family residence in Cambridge.
It’s an interest that began as a child, when she’d build houses for her Barbie dolls, enjoying selecting different materials to construct with.
She studied architecture in her native Brazil, then moved to London, where she completed a Master’s degree before joining an architectural practice.
Heading up residential projects, from Switzerland to the Middle East, she fell in love with interior design, fascinated by the rich materials and myriad of elements that go into creating a space which ‘elevates your soul’.
Renata swapped the London rat race for a more family-orientated life in Cambridge with her husband and sons a few years back, working initially on residential projects. In 2019, she established her creative architecture and design studio, Renata Drumond Interior Design, and her down-to-earth approach, coupled with an incredibly creative vision, means she’s been busy ever since!
Renata and her dedicated team (senior interior designer Celia, junior interior designer Vishal and 3D architectural visualisation expert Levir) offer a comprehensive 360 service, from concept to completion, including technical drawings, interior architecture, and space planning. Time is taken to help clients visualise their projects with mood boards and virtual reality walk-throughs.
The team, who like to collaborate with independents (from electricians to upholsterers), work on residential and commercial projects in the UK and abroad, from luxurious homes for Qatari clients to London restaurants.
Cambridgeshire commissions have included Turkish fine dining hub, Yakut Restaurant; the Five Bells at Burwell, and local residence Chippenham Lodge.
Renata embraces each project with zest, relishing the opportunity to create contemporary and uplifting spaces which reflect each client’s personal style.
