Radmore Farm Shop
8-10 Victoria Avenue, Cambridge, CB4 1EH
Since 2006 Radmore Farm Shop has been supplying its customers with high quality food and drink products. Founded by owners Ben and Vicky – Ben is Cambridge born and bred, while Vicky grew up on a farm in Northamptonshire – the husband-and-wife team take pride in offering the best of the countryside to their Cambridge customers.
The farm shop has evolved over the years from serving as a traditional greengrocer in its early days to offering an array of high-quality food, drink and household items from fellow indie businesses in more recent times.
The Victoria Avenue favourite is mixing things up once more and is now home to a specialist coffee shop alongside a well-stocked store, focussed on offering food produced mainly at Ben and Vicky’s family farm in Northamptonshire, where they live with their three children. At their farm Ben heads up the on-site butchery and Vicky leads in the bakery creating delicious cakes, pies and quiches.
A coffee enthusiast himself, the new café is an ambition Ben has long had for the farm shop and, although small in size, serves first class coffee from quality suppliers including: Hasbean, Silver Oak and Hot Numbers. Customers can sit in and enjoy their drink or grab a takeaway and indulge in a slice of homemade cake or a sausage roll. Coffee beans are also available to buy to enjoy at home, including whichever bean is the current ‘coffee of the week’.
Back in the farm shop foodies can choose from free-range meats including pork, lamb, goat, sausages and bacon alongside charcuterie. The couple is also planning to use the coffee shop as a space for food and drink experiences, such as seasonal tasting evenings and live podcast chats from Ben. Whether you’re a Radmore regular or yet to visit, we recommend you drop in the next time you’re passing!
