For those perplexed by the intricacies of SEO (we hear you!), there’s help at hand from Cambridge-based business consultant Joe Linford. Joe has spent the past 15-plus years mastering the art of SEO – witnessing how effective it can be in driving audience growth – whilst working for Genie Ventures’ flagship brand Broadband Genie. Starting as a part-time Online Marketing Executive in 2008, whilst working as a teaching assistant, Joe relished the opportunity to learn SEO from scratch, using it to help grow a small team.

 

Joe was appointed Broadband Genie’s Head of SEO in 2010, before being promoted to Head of Product in 2014. During that time his skillset grew exponentially (as did Broadband Genie), to include technical aspects of SEO, marketing, management, financial forecasting and business strategy. And it is this impressive array of skills which Joe brings to his new role as a business consultant.

 

Joe is particularly keen to collaborate with fellow independents, offering his expertise to help boost their visibility on Google’s organic natural search.
