As life returns to normal and more businesses around Cambridge get to grips with a new hybrid way of working, they are finding they need new ways to make sure their employees still feel part of the team.

Through their popular corporate events – which have been running since 2008 – award-winning Cambridge Cookery School has a rather special take on the usual ‘team-building’ offering. From the slightly more competitive ‘Master Chef’ and ‘Bake Off’ themes through to a fun ‘Food Safari’ for larger groups, these are all perfect opportunities to bring people together in a positive way.

Of course, it’s also a chance to learn new skills, and the reviews already speak volumes about the expertise and knowledge discovered within the stunning setting of the School’s state-of-the-art kitchen (complete with Neff ovens and beautiful Iittala cookwear). They also say what a fun, relaxing and welcoming environment people find, with any nervousness about lack of culinary skills soon banished.

All this is no surprise as owner and Head chef, Tine Roche, trained at the world-renowned Leiths School of Food and Wine and now, along with her passionate team of experienced and friendly Cordon Bleu chefs, is in her element – passing on her knowledge to others.

In addition to the corporate events and entertaining, Cambridge Cookery School runs celebration events from Hen to birthday parties, plus a sensational schedule of classes – open to all, ranging from bread baking and knife skills to perfect pasta and cooking fish. Classes for kids and teens are run during term-time holidays and the School is fully approved to run a 5-day course for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme – giving students the skills and confidence to cook healthy, delicious food for life.
