The Cambridge Chocolate Festival returns in 2024 with some new sweet additions to the line up as well as some well known favourites from 2023!

The Valentine’s Festival & Market returns to the historic Cambridge Union Society Debate Chamber on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 of February, launching with an Opening Night reception in the Keynes Library with a film screening of The Chocolate War and a Q&A with investigative journalist and the film’s director, Miki Mistrati in attendance. Ticket holders are treated to a chocolate cocktail on Opening Night and tickets can be used to attend the Market Saturday and Sunday.

The Festival boasts a wonderful line up of workshops this year including a Chocolate Tasting with Research Scientist and Product developer Hazel Lee of the Chocolate Academy. Not to be missed!

An Espresso Tasting and Latte Art workshop with Tom Ross of VG Coffee Co. A Chocolate & Food Photography 1 hour workshop with Elisa Orani of one of Cambridge’s own favourite food bloggers – My Foodie Days! Indie’s own Susannah Watson of Meadows will be bringing cheese to the table this year and will be hosting a Cheese & Chocolate tasting workshop, and the Festival will finish up by winding down with a session of Yoga with Cambridge Luluemon Ambassador – Janine Tandy.

*All Workshop Tickets are accepted as entry to the festival. All proceeds go directly towards supporting small, independent businesses, many of whom are Indie Cambridge Members working in collaboration with Festival Organiser and Founder Riadh Falvo.

Riadh is the curator of boutique batch chocolatier Bumble & Oak and assistant to ‘Truffle’ the festival’s chocolate cocker spaniel brand ambassador. She is also a photographer, freelance writer, and contributor to Velvet* Magazine and other local publications including our very own The Indie. Her strong background in graphic design and content creation lends itself to her being a social media maven for a growing number of small, independent businesses.

The event’s partner sponsor this year is Indie Janet Fox of Small & Green Cambridge, with contributions from Compendia, and VG Coffee and main Media Partner Velvet* Magazine. The Festival is still seeking sponsors for this year, if you would like to get involved contact Riadh Falvo directly at cambridgechocolatefestival@gmail.com or 07546 269663, and follow along on @CamChocoFest.

The Festival runs a Logo Design Contest every year and has invited artists from amateur to expert to submit their inspirations for a Cambridge Chocolate Festival logo again this year to be highlighted in next year’s festival!
