Bea’s Beauty Retreat
173 Mill Road, Cambridge, CB1 3AN
Amid the bustle of one of Cambridge’s most vibrant streets, you’ll find an oasis of calm.
Step away from the Mill Road traffic and into Bea’s Beauty Retreat to be instantly enveloped by a feeling of serenity, as you’re welcomed by friendly owner Georgia Lewis.
Bea’s, named after Georgia’s niece, offers a ‘home from home’ feel, a little haven where you can let your shoulders drop and enjoy some serious pampering. The retreat’s lovely therapists specialise in core beauty treatments, such as relaxing massages, facials, waxing (for men and women) and lashes. There are two tranquil treatment rooms, plus a luxurious nail station, with snuggly armchairs, perfect for a soothing manicure or pedicure and a spot of people watching!
One of Bea’s specialities is Environ technologically advanced facials, which use electronic pulses and sound waves to deliver powerful vitamins to the skin and showcase incredible results. The team also offer pregnancy massage and host personalised pamper parties, where groups can hire out the whole space and indulge in mini treatments, prosecco, herbal teas and cake.
Georgia, who launched Bea’s in 2019, has been in the beauty business her whole career, beginning in independent salons in Cambridge, before opening her first beauty hub at the Frank Lee Centre on the Addenbrooke’s Hospital site. She spent four years gaining valuable experience within spas and salons in London prior to moving back to Cambridge, and finding the perfect premises on Mill Road. Though she considered a city centre salon, Georgia plumped for Mill Road because of its community feel, and the eclectic range of clients it brings.
If you’re in need of a little TLC, check yourself into Bea’s for a feel-good holistic therapy, and you’re sure to float out feeling rejuvenated.
