If you’ve ever been to The Edge Cafe on Mill Road, you will surely have tried one of their utterly delicious, homemade brownies. Now, we bring you the recipe so you can create them yourself at home.
Brownies on The Edge
Ingredients
200g good quality milk chocolate
100g good quality dark chocolate
250g butter
400g light brown sugar
4 eggs
140g plain flour
50g cocoa powder
Method
Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees
Grease and line a 9″ baking tray, careful not to create baking paper creases in the corner.
Place a bowl over a pan of boiling water (not touching the water).
In the bowl melt the pack of butter chopped up, with the two chocolates and the brown sugar
Once melted, mix together and place to the side for 5 mins
Fold in each egg one at a time
Fold in the flour and cocoa and mix thoroughly
Pour into the lined tin and bake for 25 mins.
Cut into 9 pieces and DEVOUR
